2.7 magnitude quake hits Solan

Solan, Jan 3 – The Solan district of Himachal Pradesh was jolted by 2.7 magnitude earthquake on Tuesday morning, Indian Spokesperson of State Disaster management Authority said a major tremor was felt around 5:53 am.


The epicenter of the earthquake was near Sihl village of Silan at latitude of 31.12 North and Longitude of 76.72 East and five kilometers depth.

It is being told that some people came out of their homes. Fortunately, there was no loss of life or property.
