2.6 magnitude earthquake jolts Lahaul-Spiti district

Shimla, Dec 21 – Lahaul-Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh was jolted by 2.6 magnitude earthquake Wednesday afternoon, Indian Meteorological Department informed. Tremors were felt in tribal district Lahaul-Spiti district around 2.25 pm.

The epicenter of the earthquake was at latitude 32.62 North and Longitude 76.64 3 East and 5 kilometers depth. According to district administration there was no loss of life or property in this.
