1028 revenue cases resolved under special campaign: Mukesh Repaswal

A review meeting regarding the work related to the Special Revenue Lok Adalat was held today under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repaswal. The meeting thoroughly reviewed the progress of the settlement of revenue cases under the ongoing special campaign in the district.
The Deputy Commissioner informed the meeting that a total of 1,028 revenue cases have been settled in the district so far under the Special Revenue Lok Adalat. These include 263 partition cases, 419 demarcation cases, and 346 revenue record correction cases.
Reviewing the targets set for the past week, the Deputy Commissioner directed Sub-Divisional Magistrates, Tehsildars, and Naib Tehsildars to ensure the disposal of cases in accordance with the weekly targets for the speedy resolution of pending cases. He said that special attention should be paid to the speedy disposal of old and pending cases during the three-month special campaign period.
The Deputy Commissioner said that it should be ensured that all the cases pending for more than six months and one year are resolved by March 31.
The Deputy Commissioner directed all SDMs and Tehsildars to coordinate with Block Development Officers and expedite the formalities related to the repair work of Patwar and Kanungo buildings in various tehsils and sub-tehsils, so that the necessary repair work can be started on time. The meeting also discussed e-governance and e-district services in detail.
In the meeting, Sub-Divisional Officer Priyanshu Khati, Assistant Commissioner Rahul Dhiman, District Revenue Officer Vikramjeet Singh along with SDMs, Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars of various sub-divisions remained connected through virtual medium.
