New Tube Well Inaugurated: Kewal Singh Pathania
Shahpur: Shahpur MLA and Deputy Chief Whip Kewal Singh Pathania said that Jal Shakti Department projects worth nearly ₹100 crore are being implemented in the Shahpur Assembly constituency to strengthen drinking water supply and basic infrastructure.
Speaking at the inauguration of a tube well constructed under the Bheru–Chudtha–Yol–Jharer lift water supply scheme at Nerti, Pathania said the project will ensure clean and regular drinking water to 1,723 people from three villages of Nerti panchayat. The ₹2.21-crore scheme is nearing completion.
He also informed that construction of the Rait–Jhirballa road at a cost of ₹7.35 crore is in progress and will be blacktopped after March 31. To improve power supply, a 63 kVA transformer is being upgraded to 250 kVA at a cost of ₹48 lakh. Pathania reiterated that ensuring basic amenities in every village remains the government’s top priority.
During the event, he distributed school bags to 38 students of the Nerti Primary School and addressed public grievances, resolving many on the spot.
