10 Private Institutes Empanelled for Skill Development Allowance in Shimla

Shimla, 16 May 2025 — In a major step towards empowering youth through quality education and skill development, the District Level Committee chaired by Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap has approved the empanelment of ten private educational institutes in Shimla district for the Skill Development Allowance scheme.
DC Kashyap emphasized the importance of quality training and said that skill-based education will strengthen the future of youth, helping them secure employment and develop self-employment opportunities. The empanelled institutes include:
- Indo Technical Institute, 16 Mile, Shakrah (DCA – 60 seats)
- Bharat Computer Education, Halog Dhami (DMCA & PGDMCA – 60 seats)
- Sai Digitech Professional Institute, Khalini (O-Level – 76 seats)
- Santoshi Computer Education, Sunni (ACCA & DCA – 65 seats)
- Golden Institute of Technology, Rampur (AICP – 60 seats)
- Shaveri Education, Sanjauli (DMCA & PGDMCA – 120 seats)
- Him Productive Institute of Education, Lakkar Bazaar (Various – 200 seats)
- Aptech Computer Education, Sunni (DCA with Java – 90 seats)
- Him Bevcom Technoright Pvt. Ltd., Sunni (O-Level – 120 seats)
- Him Bevcom Institute of Education, Sunni (Various – 120 seats)
The empanelment is renewed every two years. Present during the session were Employment Officer Devendra Kumar, ITI Principal Kartik Thakur, and DRDA Accounts Officer Hemant Jokta.
