10% of LADF to Be Allocated for CM Sukhashraya & Sukhashiksha Yojana: DC Anupam Kashyap

Shimla, Feb 22, 2025: In a review meeting of the Local Area Development Fund (LADF), chaired by Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap, it was decided that 10% of LADF funds in Shimla district will be allocated to the CM Sukhashraya Yojana 2023 and CM Sukhashiksha Yojana to maximize benefits for beneficiaries.

The total pending LADF deposit for various projects amounts to ₹98.59 crore, and project authorities have been directed to ensure timely deposits. The government will be approached regarding projects that have completed formalities but remain non-operational on-site.

Pending LADF deposits include:

  • Rampur sub-division: ₹1.48 crore (Ganvi Stage-1), ₹1.57 crore (Upper Nanti HEP), ₹1.10 crore (Rajpura HEP), and more.
  • Shimla Rural sub-division: ₹39 crore (Sunni Dam HEP), ₹11.40 crore (Kol Dam HEP).
  • Rohru sub-division: ₹32.50 lakh (Shimla SHEP), ₹6 lakh (Gumma HEP Stage-3).
  • Jubbal sub-division: ₹13 crore (Sawara Kudu HEP).

The meeting was attended by ADM Jyoti Rana, SDMs, panchayat representatives, and project officials.
