CM Kanyadaan Yojana Brings Hope to Daughters of Taro Devi in Paonta Sahib

Under the leadership of CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, Himachal Pradesh’s welfare initiatives continue to empower women. Taro Devi of Paonta Sahib, who raised her late brother’s daughters despite financial hardship, successfully married both girls with the help of ₹51,000 each under the *Mukhyamantri Kanyadaan Yojana*. She expressed heartfelt gratitude to the state government for the timely support. The scheme benefits BPL families, widows’ daughters, orphans, and girls living in shelter homes, with applications accepted through Anganwadi workers or local child development offices.
