Suggestions Invited On Himachal’s State of Environment Report

Shimla, Aug 27 : Department of Environment, Science & Technology, Himachal Pradesh has recently updated the “State of Environment Report for Himachal Pradesh”. The report comprises of fifteen chapters which provide an insight into various priority issues for the state related to the status of environment and natural resources, the pressures driving environmental changes and the consequences of their upon.

The seminar is being jointly organized by Shoolini University, Solan and Department of Environment, Science & Technology, H.P titled as Brainstorming on State of Environment Report Himachal Pradeshto be held on 30th August, 2022  at the campus of Shoolini University, Bajhol, Solan (H.P).

This event will consist of brainstorming on the issues and challenges raised in the State of Environment Report in the fields of agriculture, horticulture, land use, biodiversity, forests, pollution, natural disasters, and climate change; water resources, health and wellness; energy, tourism and culture, transport, and communication etc. The event will conclude with the recommendations, outlining key environmental issues to the Government of Himachal Pradesh for implementation.
