PCB Shimla’s Regional Office To Hold Cleanliness Drive on Aug 14

Himachal Pradesh State Pollution Board through its Regional Office Shimla is organizing a cleanliness drive in Shimla in association with our partners from MC Shimla, Healing Himalayas, Shoolini University, Home Guard, STP Lalpani, Sanjauki – Malyana, M/s Elephant Energy, Oberoi Group, Hotelier association, BDO Mashobra, Slaughter house and others at three locations 1. Lift Nallah (starting from lift to Lalpani bridge) 2. National Highway (Tutikandi to Panthaghati) and 3. Ashwani Khad (Gram Panchayat Pujarli and Rajhana) on 14th August 2021 as part of the cleanliness drive inaugurated by Hon’ble Chief Minister, Himachal Pradesh for the period 9-15 August to commemorate the 75th year of Independence.

The drive shall start at 9.00 AM on 14th August 2021 from the assembly point near Slaughter house, Lalpani. A large number of volunteers will participate in the cleanliness drive on all above stretches after the oath ceremony by Member Secretary, HP Pollution Control Board at Lalpani. Waste collected shall be sent to sanitary landfill site at Bharyal.
