BUEST Launches NSS 7-Day Camp with Inspiring Opening Ceremony
1 min readBaddi , June, 2024 – The much-awaited NSS 7-day camp commenced on June 16 on BUEST university campus with an engaging and motivational orientation session. The opening ceremony was skillfully led by Ankita Thakur, the NSS Program Officer, who emphasized the significance of the National Service Scheme (NSS) and outlined the objectives and schedule for the upcoming week.
The objectives discussed during the session aim to empower students through practical experiences and collaborative efforts, fostering a sense of social responsibility and community service.
Ankita Thakur was accompanied by esteemed coordinators, including Ms. Narender Kaur from the School of Management Studies (SMS), Mrs. Gurbaksh Kaur from the School of Arts and Sciences (SOAS), Mrs. Anjula from the Nursing department, and Mr. Vinod Kumar from the School of Engineering and Emerging Technologies (SEET).
NSS volunteers Gurleen and Pranjal warmly welcomed all the participants, while Muskan provided a comprehensive overview of the NSS, highlighting its mission and vision.
