Youth Power Shines at Shoolini University’s International Youth Day Celebrations

Solan, August 18 – Shoolini University marked International Youth Day with a vibrant series of events that celebrated the power of young people as change-makers in society. The celebrations, aligned with the United Nations’ vision of youth empowerment, highlighted leadership, healthy living, social responsibility, and patriotism.
A key feature was an Anti-Drug Awareness Session and Oath-Taking Ceremony led by Director Operations Brigadier Sunit Dutt Mehta, who spoke on the physical, mental, and social risks of drug abuse. Students pledged to build a drug-free society, reinforcing the university’s commitment to nurturing responsible citizens.
Motivational clips from the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue by the Prime Minister of India inspired students to embrace leadership and contribute towards a developed India. The event also featured awareness videos under the ‘Hamara Samvidhan, Hamara Swaabhimaan’ campaign, reminding youth of their constitutional duties and role in safeguarding national pride.
Adding a patriotic spirit, a quiz on the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav engaged students with India’s freedom struggle and the symbolism of the tricolor.
Through these multifaceted activities, Shoolini University underscored the spirit of International Youth Day—empowering youth to lead with vision, values, and responsibility.
