Webinar On Latest Green Building Design Trends Organized At JUIT

On 14th September 2022 Department of Civil Engineering, Jaypee University of Information Technology in collaboration with Indian Green Building Council, Chandigarh Chapter organized a one-day webinar session on Latest Trends in Green Building Design on the occasion of World Green Building Week, 2022, which is celebrated from 12-16 September 2022. The objective of this event is to create awareness about the latest systems and technology used in field of Green Buildings and Biophillic designs. Vice Chancellor, JUIT, Prof R.K Sharma and Dean Academics & Research, Prof. Ashok Kumar Gupta appreciated the efforts taken to conduct this webinar which saw a registration of more than 550 participants from around the globe. Mr. Ashwini Bamba – Director Accelerated Logic Control talked about the latest trends and technology in integral building management system. Ar. Sukumar Jayarath Principal Architect, Studio by Design shared his perspective on various aspects and verticals to be taken care in green building design and at last Mr. Harshit Behl: Director – Technical, Suntech AG delivered session on Green walls and Biophillic design. All Three Session were moderated by Dr. Tanmay Gupta, Chairman JUIT-Students Chapter IGBC.
