V-Shanta Gallery inaugurated at Shoolini University by Swami Krishnananda Giri

The Viahwanathan Shanta (V Shanta) gallery was inaugurated by Swami Krishnananda Giri, a senior monk of Yogoda Satsanga Society of India, Founded by Sri Paramhansa Yogananda,a world known yogi and author of world’s most acclaimed book ‘the Autobiography of a Yogi’.
V Shanta was best known for her efforts towards making quality and affordable cancer treatment accessible to all patients in her country. Her work won her several awards, including the Padma Shri, Padma Bhushan and Padma Vibhushan the second highest civilian award given by the Government of India.
Swami Krishnanda Giri dedicated a statue of V Shanta, who was also his cousin, which is installed and established in the department of basic science, D- Block, Shoolini University.
Speaking at the function, Swami Giri said that that she was an inspiration for young students.
Swami Giri is an alumni of IIT Bombay. He is an electrical engineer and has visited many place in India and aboard for lectures.
Shoolini University co-founder and pro-chancellor, Mr. Vishal Ananda, Registrar of the university Prof. Sunil Puri, Chairman of Yogananda Centre Theology, Sholini University and an Ex. IAS Sh. Vivek Atray, Professor JM Julka, Brig. Sunil Mehta, Director Operation Shoolini University, Head of the School Yoga Science Dr. Subodh and Faculty of Management Science Dr. Supriya Srivastava welcomed the guests and read out a message on behalf of Prof PK Khosla, Chancellor Shoolini university who was unable to attend the function.
