Teachers’ Meet & Admission Prospectus Launch by Baddi University

Pinjore, May 28 – Baddi University of Emerging Sciences and Technology organized a Teachers’ Meet and launched the 2022 Admission Prospectus at Hotel Classic Residency, Pinjore. The event was attended by Pradhans, School Principals, and teachers from Pinjore, Kalka, and Parwanoo.

University representatives, including Dr. Ravinesh Mishra, Dean of Research and Development, and Dr. Arunkant Painoli, Dean of School of Management Studies, addressed the audience.

Dr. Ravinesh Mishra introduced the “Academic Adoption Programme” in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, a first in the state. This initiative offers academic and practical exposure to students by involving them in industry projects. The “Earn While Learn” component provides a stipend of ₹8,500 to ₹12,000 to financially disadvantaged students working in companies while pursuing their studies.

He highlighted the university’s strong record in training and placement, particularly in Baddi, Asia’s largest Pharmaceutical Hub, where students secure placements in renowned companies. He also noted recent internships secured by 3rd-year students at Orange Business Services. Additionally, he mentioned the School of Pharmacy’s recognition as the best in North India by Economic Times.

Dr. Arunkant Painoli discussed the Management courses offered by the university and efforts to foster entrepreneurship among students. Recently, the School of Management Studies organized an expert talk by Mr. Rajat Jain, a winner of Shark Tank India 2022, who invented a pocket-size ECG device, a breakthrough in medical science.
