St. Thomas School’s Youth Tourism Club Organizes Heritage Walk
1 min readShimla, Aug 03 – The Youth Tourism Club of St. Thomas School in Shimla organized a Heritage Walk to educate its members about the city’s heritage buildings and routes. Led by coordinators Surender Sharma and Tarun Sharma, over 40 club members participated in the event. The walk commenced at the Army Command and concluded at the Army Heritage Museum in Annadale.
During the walk, teachers provided detailed information about various heritage buildings and sites in Shimla. The members enjoyed the scenic route from Victory Tunnel to the Army Heritage Museum, exploring historical landmarks along the way.
At the Army Heritage Museum, members observed various military-related exhibits, including weapons, uniforms, medals, and the valorous activities of the Indian Army. The club also engaged in an environmental cleanup by collecting plastic bottles and pledging to conserve natural resources.
The principal of St. Thomas School, Vidhupriya Chakravarti, encouraged members to actively participate in club activities and remain aware of environmental protection and the harmful effects of plastic.
