Shoolini University YKC library is open to nearby schools

A team of the Yogananda Knowledge Centre (YKC) visited schools situated close to the University campus and invited students to visit and study in the university library.
The aim of the visit was to apprise the schools’ administrations to send their students to the YKC Library, as the library is open for students to help them develop reading habits. Students who are willing to study at the library will also be made temporary members of the YKC library, for a period of 5 years, and they will be issued a membership card.
The team comprised Director of Yogananda Knowledge Centre YKC, Col. T.P.S. Gill and librarian Ms. Neelam Thakur. They visited Chinmay Vidyalaya School, Nauni, Government Senior Secondary School, Shamror Nauni, Government High School, Dharja, The Good Shepherd School, Dharja; Rajgarh and Bal Bharti Public School, Rajgarh.
Mrs. Neelam Thakur, Library Assistant, interacted with the school principals and explained the details of the facilities of the YKC Library. “We will provide necessary transport on a weekly or fortnightly basis to get the students to the university” said Col. T.P.S. Gill, Director of Yogananda Knowledge Centre.
Mrs. Loretto Ellis, Principal of The Good Shepherd School requested to visit Shoolini University along with students and staff teachers next week, according to Harsha Thakur, Assistant Prof., YKC Library.
