Shoolini University celebrates Independence Day with patriotic spirit

Shoolini University celebrated the 79th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The event began with the hoisting of the national flag by Pro Vice-Chancellor Mr. Vishal Anand along with other dignitaries, followed by the rendition of the national anthem that filled the campus with pride and unity.
Addressing the gathering, Pro Vice-Chancellor Mr Vishal Anand highlighted the significance of the day and paid tribute to the freedom fighters whose sacrifices won the nation its liberty. He called upon students and staff to contribute towards India’s growth with integrity, innovation and social responsibility, while stressing on the collective role of youth in building a stronger nation.
The celebration also featured a colourful cultural programme. Students performed yoga demonstrations reflecting India’s ancient wellness traditions, while patriotic songs and theatre performances depicted the struggles of freedom fighters and the dedication of the Indian Army. Traditional and contemporary dance performances added vibrancy, showcasing the country’s cultural diversity.
The programme concluded with vote of thanks by Prof. Neeraj Gandotra, Associate Dean Student Welfare, who urged everyone to uphold the values of unity, resilience and hope for a brighter future.
