Shoolini NCC cadets shine at Annual Training Camp

The NCC unit of Shoolini University has once again brought pride to the institution with their exceptional performance at the Annual Training Camp (ATC 200). This 10-day intensive training programme tested cadets in various domains including drill, firing, fitness, technical training, sports, and cultural events, and the cadets from Shoolini stood out with their remarkable achievements.
In a moment of honour for the university, Under Officer rank (UO) Abdul Lateef was appointed Camp Senior, a prestigious leadership position at ATC 200. He was also declared the Overall Best Cadet (SD) SD – Senior Division (referred to boys of universities in NCC ). Cadets Yuvraj Singh Chandel and Jyoti were named Runner-up Best Cadets (SD), adding further glory to the university’s achievements.
In the drill competitions, UO Ashutosh Rana (SD) and Sgt. Vanshika Kanwar (SW) emerged as winners, while Cdt. Yuvraj Singh (SD) and Cdt. Jyoti (SW) SW-Senior wing (referred to girls of universities in NCC)secured the runner-up positions. In the firing category, Cdt. Manju Gora (SW) clinched the top spot and Cdt. Godhuli Jamatia (SW) secured the runner-up position, demonstrating skill and focus.
The Shoolini cadets also dominated in sports, bringing home a total of 15 medals. The basketball team earned eight medals with standout performances by cadets from both Senior Division (SD) and Senior Wing (SW). The volleyball team won four medals, and in badminton, three medals were secured across both divisions.
In technical and cultural events, the Tech Team brought home three trophies, while two medals were won by cadet pilots. The Dance Team, led by CSM Harman Rana, received special recognition for their energetic and graceful performances that impressed the camp authorities.
The outstanding performance of Shoolini cadets would not have been possible without the constant support, guidance, and mentorship of CTO Jyoti Devi, whose dedication and encouragement played a key role in preparing the students for this camp.
