Research and Innovation Series for students at SILB

Shoolini Institute of Life Sciences and Business Management, (SILB)  organised a guest lecture on Research Innovation Series entitled” New Research Ideas in Biotechnology and Microbiology” for students of in MSc course.

 Prof. R.C. Sobti , Former Vice Chancellor of Panjab University, Chandigarh was the guest speaker. He has been awarded Padma Shri in 2009 and has also served as Vice Chancellor at Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University , Lucknow. Prof Sobti  gave insights about the current scenario and demand of research in India and abroad. He  also emphasised that research should be started at undergraduate level, so that innovative ideas emerge to meet the demands and the challenges the world is facing today. Dr. Shalini Sharma  Director SILB Felicitated the Chief Guest . The faculty and students of the Department of Microbiology and Biotechnology attended the session.
