Ragini Thakur of Bahra University Creates History by Qualifying JRF

Ragini Thakur, a resident of Sameenalta village near Manali and a student of Forensic Science at Bahra University, has achieved a significant milestone by qualifying the NET-JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) exam in the subject of Forensic Science. Belonging to the PWD (Persons with Disabilities) category, Ragini’s success has become a source of inspiration for the entire state.
Ragini completed her postgraduate studies in Forensic Science from Bahra University. She stated, “I would first like to credit this achievement to my parents and teachers, whose support and sacrifices have been the greatest strength of my life. I am also grateful to all my mentors, whose guidance and belief in me have always been my motivation.”
Ragini dreams of conducting in-depth research in the field of Forensic Science to contribute to society and inspire the youth of Himachal to pursue careers in this domain.
On this proud achievement, Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Chancellor of Bahra University, extended heartfelt congratulations to Ragini and said that students like her are the pride of the university. “Her hard work, dedication, and confidence have proven that no goal is impossible. We wish her a bright future.”
Head of the Department of Forensic Science, Dr. Tina Sharma, also congratulated Ragini and said that this accomplishment is a matter of pride for both the department and the university.
