Prerna Diwas celebrated at Shoolini University

“Prerna Diwas” was celebrated in Shoolini University on to mark the birthday of Founder and Chancellor PK Khosla on February 18.

The celebrations started with a Hawan which was attended by Trustees and senior faculty and staff members of the university. These included Mrs Saroj Khosla, Mr Satish Anand, Mr Ashok Anand, Mr Ashish Khosla, Dr Ashoo Khosla, Ms Avnee Khosla besides the Vice Chancellor Prof Atul Khosla.

A tree planation campaign was also organised in which Prof PK Khosla planted a Rudraksh tree in the temple premises of the university.

On this special occasion, a new lab was inaugurated by Mrs. Saroj Khosla and Prof. P.K. Khosla. The newly inaugurated lab is called the “BOSS LAB” (Plant Physiology), which will focus on various aspects of plant research.

The BOSS Lab is headed by the Dean Academics and Registrar Prof. Sunil Puri and Dr. Radha, and it will mainly focuses on phytochemistry, ethnobotany, plant physiology, plant stress, and plant taxonomy.

“We are proud to inaugurate the boss lab on this special day. The lab will provide a platform for the research scholars to explore the various aspects of plant research and contribute to the field of pharmaceutical and nutraceuticals.” said Chancellor PK Khosla.
