Shimla, June 26 — Former Chairman of SBI Foundation, Nixon Joseph, inspired students of APG Shimla University during a job-placement workshop by urging them to become entrepreneurs rather than job seekers. He emphasized the importance of skills, leadership, communication, innovation, and discipline as key to success in today’s competitive world.

Speaking at the workshop organized by Dr. Monika Verma, Head of the Job-Placement Cell, and Dean Academics Prof. Dr. Anand Mohan Sharma, Joseph highlighted that entrepreneurship is not merely about earning money but contributing positively to society and the nation. He also shared insights into the role of the SBI Foundation in areas like education, health, environment, and livelihood.

Joseph introduced students to the SBI Youth for India Fellowship and its impact on rural development, emphasizing the need for skill-based education and social responsibility. The session concluded with an interactive Q\&A, leaving students motivated and better informed about career possibilities beyond conventional paths.
