National Program on Tuberculosis Eradication Organized at Abhilashi University

Mandi, March 21, 2025: Abhilashi University’s Red Ribbon Club, in collaboration with the State Task Force, organized a national program on tuberculosis (TB) eradication. The event was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Ashok Kumar Bhardwaj, Chairman of the National Task Force, and Special Guest Dr. Arindam Roy, District Program Officer. Dr. Bandana, the Nodal Officer of the Red Ribbon Club, along with other dignitaries, welcomed them.
In his welcome address, Vice Chancellor Prof. H.K. Choudhary emphasized the significance of innovation-driven efforts in achieving TB elimination. The event served as a platform for experts in TB research and technology to discuss impactful solutions. Dr. Ashok Kumar Bhardwaj highlighted India’s significant progress in TB control and the crucial role of innovation in achieving the 2025 eradication goal. He encouraged innovators to continue developing effective tools to support this mission.
Dr. Arindam Roy stressed the importance of digital health, artificial intelligence, data collection, and health promotion in reaching undiagnosed TB patients. He called for faster and more accurate diagnosis, improved treatment regimens, and better prevention strategies.
Dr. Ankita Chaudhary, coordinator of the Red Ribbon Club, along with Dr. Rahul (Vice Principal, Ayurvedic Research Institute) and Dr. Devendra Sharma (DSW, Abhilashi University), expressed gratitude to all participants, volunteers, and attendees for making the program a success.
On this occasion, Chancellor Dr. R.K. Abhilashi, Pro-Chancellor Dr. L.K. Abhilashi, Vice-Chancellor Prof. H.K. Choudhary, Registrar Dr. Kapil Kapoor, Chairperson of Genius Education Society Dr. Narvada Abhilashi, Vice Chairperson of Abhilashi Education Society Dr. Promila Abhilashi, and Secretary Narendra Kumar extended their congratulations to the Red Ribbon Club for their commendable efforts in organizing the event.
