Tree Planting Ceremony Held to Pay Tribute to Martyrs

Baddi, July 27, 2024: IEC University, located in Solan district, celebrated ‘Kargil Vijay Diwas’ with enthusiasm to commemorate India’s victory over Pakistan in the Kargil War. On the 25th anniversary of the Kargil War, the sacrifices of the martyrs who laid down their lives for the country were remembered, and tributes were paid to the brave soldiers. The day was celebrated with zeal and patriotism by students and teachers, who also organized a tree planting ceremony on the university campus.

On this occasion, the senior management of IEC University stated, “On Kargil Vijay Diwas, we are committed to maintaining the unity and integrity of the country, and we are proud of our brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the Kargil War.”

The event was organized by the university’s NSS unit, which highlighted to the students the importance of remembering the bravery and sacrifice of our nation’s armed forces through such programs.
