Five Day Hands-on Workshop on ‘Next generation sequencing data analysis’ (20-24, march 2023)

The Department of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, Jaypee University of information Technology, Waknaghat, Solan (H.P.) inaugurated a five Day Hands on Workshop “Next generation sequencing data analysis” on March 20, 2023.
This five-day workshop attracted participants from more than five states to JUIT. A total of 26 students participated from various prestigious institute such as AIIMS-New Delhi, IITDhaward, HFRI-Shimla, Graphic Era University, Singhania University, DAV CollegeChandigarh, JIIT-Noida, Sharda University-NOIDA, Chandigarh University, SHUATSPrayagraj.
Inaugural session of this workshop was embraced by our chief guest, Dr. Amit Kumar Singh, Senior Scientist, ICAR-National Bureau of Plant Genetic Resources, New Delhi, Dean of Academics, JUIT, Prof. Ashok Kumar Gupta, Head of Department of Biotechnology &
Bioinformatics, JUIT, Prof. Sudhir Kumar, other department HODs, all faculty members of JUIT. Honorable Vice Chancellor of JUIT, Prof. Rajendra Kumar Sharma and Registrar, JUIT, Maj. Gen. Rakesh Bassi also extended their best wishes to the particiapants and the coordinators of this workshop.
The workshop was coordinated by Dr. Jata Shankar & Dr. Shikha Mittal from Department of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, JUIT,Waknaghat, Solan.
