JUIT Unveils Intelligent Quadruped Robotics Lab at One-Day Workshop

Waknaghat, Nov 04: The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT) organized a One-Day Skill Development Workshop on Intelligent Quadruped Robotics, showcasing the University’s newly procured Unitree Go2 Edu U4 Quadruped Robot — a state-of-the-art platform for AI-enabled autonomous robotics research.
The initiative is part of the advanced Drobotics Lab, established with the visionary support of Hon’ble CEO Shri Manu Bhasker. Faculty and delegates expressed gratitude to Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Rajendra Kumar Sharma and senior leadership for promoting innovation-driven learning at JUIT.
Mr. Emroz Sardar, CEO of AirOne Robotics and former CTO of Maverick Drones, led insightful sessions on quadruped robot technology, navigation, simulation, and AI capabilities. Students gained hands-on experience in installation and operational demonstrations, sparking interest in future research collaborations.
The workshop, coordinated by Dr. Vikas Baghel, Dr. Emjee Puthooran, Dr. Shweta Pandit, and Dr. Aman Sharma, concluded with highly positive feedback, reinforcing JUIT’s growing excellence in robotics and automation education.
