JUIT Student Excels as 2nd Runner-up at ‘Future Business Sharks 2’ Event

In an exhilarating showcase of innovation and business acumen, Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT) takes immense pride in announcing that Geetansh Singh, a 3rd Year student at our esteemed university, has clinched the prestigious title of 2nd Runner-up at the ‘Future Business Sharks 2’ event. This remarkable competition was hosted by The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) in collaboration with Hitbullseye and held at Amity University, Mohali, Punjab, on the 5th of November, 2023.

Our students truly stood out amidst fierce competition, with over 50,000 participants hailing from more than 100 colleges across Chandigarh, Punjab, Haryana, and Himachal Pradesh. Throughout the intense competition rounds, which involved rigorous logical reasoning tests, engaging group discussions, and insightful questionnaire sessions, our students showcased not only their exceptional talents but also their unwavering entrepreneurial spirit. These rounds provided a unique platform for participants to present their innovative ideas before a distinguished panel of judges. This year’s panel boasted eminent personalities such as Harit Mohan, the President of TiE Chandigarh; Rohit Kakkar, the Assistant General Manager at SBI; Dr. Ajay Sharma, the Principal of SD College; and Hirdesh Madan, the Co-founder of Hitbullseye. The winner received hearty congratulations from Prof. R.K. Sharma, the Vice-Chancellor of JUIT.

Participation in this event not only raised its prestige but also afforded our students the invaluable opportunity to receive feedback and insights from seasoned industry and academic professionals.
