JUIT Inaugurated Two-Week Workshop on “Analysis of Dynamical Systems and Applications to Control Systems”

The Department of Mathematics at Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT), Waknaghat, Solan, Himachal Pradesh, in collaboration with the National Centre for Mathematics (NCM), a joint centre of IIT Bombay and the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Mumbai, formally inaugurated a two-week national workshop on “Analysis of Dynamical Systems and Applications to Control Systems” on June 9, 2025.

The inaugural ceremony was presided over by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. R.K. Sharma, who delivered the opening address and emphasized the critical importance of mathematical research in modern science and technology. Distinguished dignitaries present during the ceremony included Prof. A.K. Gupta, Prof. Sudhir Syal, and Prof. Sunil Khah, who graced the event with their presence and shared their insights on interdisciplinary research and academic collaboration.

The Head of the Department of Mathematics, Prof. Rakesh Kumar Bajaj, provided the overview of the workshop. The workshop coordinator, Dr. Bhupendra Kumar Pathak welcomed the guests and participants and outlined the objectives of the workshop.

Renowned faculty members and experts from prestigious institutions across India, including IISc Bangalore, IIT Delhi, IIT Roorkee, IIT Madras, IIT Mandi, and IIT Jammu, will deliver expert lectures on topics such as differential equations, stability analysis, nonlinear systems, and control theory. At the end of the ceremony, workshop coordinator, Dr. Saurabh Srivastava proposed the vote of thanks.
