General Anil Chauhan Visits Indian Institute of Advanced Studies

Shimla, Nov 2 – The Chief of Defence Staff, General Anil Chauhan, conducted a visit to the Indian Institute of Advanced Studies (IIAS) today, accompanied by other senior defense officials. He was warmly welcomed by the Secretary of IIAS, Mr. Mehar Chand Negi. During the visit, the Public Relations Officer, Mr. Akhilesh Pathak, provided an extensive tour of the institution and introduced General Chauhan to the historical significance and ongoing research activities at the IIAS.

General Anil Chauhan expressed his appreciation for the preservation of the historical building within the institution. He was notably impressed by the wide range of research subjects chosen by the institution’s scholars and other academic stakeholders, emphasizing the diverse nature of the research work being conducted.
