GALACTECH – National Level IoT Workshop Conclude At JUIT

IEEE JUIT SB organised a week-long National level workshop on IoT entitled “GALACTECH” in collaboration with IEEE R10 Region, SAC IEEE Delhi Section, JUIT SB and JCBUST YMCA SB powered by Educlouds. It was a certification workshop organised at Jaypee University of Information Technology from September 19, 2022 to September 25, 2022. An innovation challenge was organised and participants-built projects under the themes – Domotics (Home Automation), DigiCity (Smart Cities), IoT in Healthcare, IoT for workspaces. All the teams presented their projects with great enthusiasm. The teams were judged on the basis of their presentation, coding, theme and their prototypes.
Team Hary (Harsh Thakran, Adarsh Pandey, Rakshit, Yash Tyagi) was the runner up andthey made a project on smart homes in a web-based home kitchen monitoring system. The first prize went to Team Vortex (Saurav Kumar, Shivam Ravi Kumar, Abhay Singh, Animesh Srivastava). They made an IoT device through which people can set their own parameters (temperature, sound, lighting) at their workspaces without providing any inconvenience to other members available near them.
