District-level GST quiz competition held

On November 25, 2023, the Department of State Taxes and Excise held a district-level GST quiz competition at Jaypee University of Information Technology to commemorate its 55th Foundation Day. Prominent guest of the occasion was Prof. Rajendra Kumar Sharma, Vice Chancellor, JUIT. Shri Devkant Prakash Khachi, Deputy Commissioner of the State Tax & Excise Department, gave the opening remarks for the event and motivated students for the quiz. Nine teams from various Solan district colleges and universities competed in eight separate rounds of competition. Degree College Solan held the top spot, followed by Degree College Darlaghat in second place and Degree College Dharmpur in third. The award ceremony for the coordinators and winners brought the event to a close.
