Cervical Cancer Awareness Workshop Held at Abhilashi University

Mandi, April 5, 2025 : The School of Physiotherapy at Abhilashi University organized a workshop on Cervical Cancer Awareness, aimed at educating students and staff about the causes, symptoms, risk factors, and the crucial importance of early detection through screening.
Dr. Alok Sharma, MD, Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, served as the guest speaker and delivered an insightful and informative session on the subject. The event commenced with motivating words from the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. H.K. Chaudhary. Dr. Vivek Chauhan, Principal of the School of Physiotherapy, set the tone of the event with the quote, “Cervical Cancer—Be aware, not fear.”
The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from the university’s students and faculty. It was coordinated by Dr. Vivek Chauhan and organized by Dr. Archana.
Dr. Chauhan expressed heartfelt gratitude to all the participants, organizers, and supporters who contributed to the success of the event. He extended special thanks to Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. R.K. Abhilashi, Pro-Chancellor Dr. L.K. Abhilashi, Vice Chancellor Prof. H.K.
