Centre for Science, Learning, and Creativity Established in Shoghi by HIMCOSTE

A Centre for Science, Learning, and Creativity has been established in Shoghi, Shimla, by the Himachal Pradesh Council for Science, Technology, and Environment (HIMCOSTE). The purpose of this centre is to provide students with practical experience of scientific concepts that they learn through books. To ensure the smooth operation of this facility, a concessionaire agreement signing ceremony was held between HIMCOSTE and Shoolini University, in the presence of Sh. Prabodh Saxena, Chief Secretary to the Government of Himachal Pradesh.
The agreement was signed by Sh. Lalit Jain, Member Secretary, HIMCOSTE, on behalf of the Government of Himachal Pradesh and Prof. Atul Khosla, Vice-Chancellor of Shoolini University, Prof. Sunil Puri, Registrar Shoolini University, on behalf of Shoolini University. The ceremony was attended by various officers, including Sh. Satpal Dhiman, Joint Member Secretary, HIMCOSTE, Representative of HPIDB, Technical Officer, HIMCOSTE, Senior Scientific Assistants, HIMCOSTE. Dr. Kesari, Dean of Undergraduate Studies and Mr. Vishal Anand Pro-Chancellor of Shoolini University, were also present during the agreement signing ceremony.
The proposed state-of-the-art facility is set to inculcate a spirit of science and creativity among students and put Himachal Pradesh on the map of Indian science. The partnership with Shoolini University is expected to be a game-changer and will be fruitful in the long run. The facility will provide an opportunity for students to apply their theoretical knowledge in practical settings, thereby enhancing their learning experience. This is a significant step towards promoting scientific education in the state of Himachal Pradesh and to encourage the students interested in pursuing their career in science and technology.
