Shimla, August 2, 2025 – The prestigious B.L. Modi Inter-School Elocution Competition continued with great fervor on Day 2 at Bishop Cotton School, Shimla, celebrating the power of eloquence, critical thinking, and confident expression among young orators. Participants from leading schools across Shimla and neighboring regions competed in the Senior Division (Classes 9–10) and Open Division (Classes 11–12) categories, delivering thought-provoking speeches that captivated the audience.
The event commenced with a formal welcome to the Chief Guest, Mr. Yash Pal (IAS), followed by the traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, symbolizing the enlightenment of knowledge. The proceedings were gracefully conducted by the senior boys of Bishop Cotton School, setting an inspiring tone for the competition.

• Most Promising Speaker (1st): Samaira Chauhan – Convent of Jesus and Mary, Chelsea
