Bahra University Strengthens Industry Ties with 4 MoUs, Unlocking Career Opportunities for Students
Shimla Hills, 10/02/2025 – Bahra University has signed four strategic Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with upGrad, IBM, HCLTech, and Larsen & Toubro (L&T) to enhance industry-academia collaboration. These partnerships will provide students with internships, skill development programs, joint research opportunities, and hands-on training in cutting-edge technologies, aligning education with evolving industry demands.
Chancellor Sh. Gurwinder Singh Bahra emphasized the university’s commitment to bridging the gap between academia and industry, ensuring students gain practical exposure and job-ready skills. The MoU signing was attended by Vice Chairman Sh. Sahil Bahra, Director Admissions & Marketing Sh. Anurag Avasthi, Director Alpha School Ms. Sakshi, and key representatives from the partnering companies.
With the introduction of industry-aligned courses under the National Education Policy (NEP), Bahra University is set to become a pioneer in offering first-of-its-kind programs in Himachal Pradesh, giving students a competitive edge in the job market.
