Three leopard skins recovered from New Shimla
1 min readShimla, June 7 – Shimla police have recovered three skins of leopard and arrested two persons from New Shimla.
A case related to smuggling of wildlife protection act has been registered. Besides three skins, police have also recovered teeth and nails of the leopards from the spot. The cost of these skins and other parts amounts to lakhs of rupees.
Of the two arrested alleged smugglers one person is from Chopal in Shimla district of HP and the other is a resident of Uttarakhand. The police have registered a case and further investigation has been started.
