Special Investigation Team Conducts Raids Across Multiple Locations in Cryptocurrency Case

In a significant crackdown on cryptocurrency-related activities, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) has initiated action in 21 different locations in Hamirpur. SIT has conducted searches, including the examination of mobile phones, laptops, computers, bank details, and other assets.

Additionally, the police department and forest department employees and public representatives have also been questioned. The accused allegedly lured unsuspecting individuals into making investments in cryptocurrency with the promise of doubling their money. Astonishingly, the accused individuals possessed luxurious homes and expensive vehicles, leaving the SIT astonished.

This action by SIT is not limited to Hamirpur, as they have also carried out searches in two locations in Una, where one suspect has been apprehended. Raids were conducted in Rakkar Colony and Gagret’s Oil Village, where the accused’s mobile phones, laptops, computers, and bank-related documents have been seized. It’s notable that even a JBT teacher is among the accused.
