Nearly 1,100 Fake Ration Cards Discovered

Solan, March 10 – During the investigation on the IMPD portal of the Central Government, it has been found that ration cards of 1,100 people are fake in Solan district. Taking action against these people, the department has blocked the ration card from one place. At the same time, many such holders have also been discovered that name of people who have died or migrated to other places after marriage has not been removed from the ration card.

Most of the fake ration cards in the district have been issued from Nalagarh. It should be noted that the Central Government has started the One Nation One Ration Card scheme. In such a situation, such ration cards are being detected by the central government from the Aadhaar card, whose two ration cards are made. For this IMPD portal has been created.

More fake cards of migrants
Due to migrant workers in Solan’s Nalagarh, more fake ration cards have been made. At the same time, ration cards have been made at two places to give benefits to the people at the Panchayat level too, but after the formation of the portal, they have started tightening the noose on such ration cards. On which action has been started by the District Food Supply Department.
