Man Booked in Paonta Sahib for Offensive Remarks Against Sanatan Dharma

Paonta Sahib, July 29: A youth from Kishanpura, identified as Akash Ladla, has been booked by Paonta Sahib police for allegedly making objectionable comments against Sanatan Dharma on social media. The complaint was filed by Sirmaur Jagran Ekta Samiti, alleging that the accused used derogatory language in reference to a recent stampede at Haridwar’s Mansa Devi temple. A screenshot of the post was submitted as evidence. Though the accused later apologized in a viral video, public outrage continues, with demands for strict legal action. Police have secured a one-day remand after presenting him in court.
