Jogindernagar : Suspicious Death of a 50-Year-Old Woman

A shocking case has emerged in Jogindernagar, Mandi district, where the body of a 50-year-old woman was found under suspicious circumstances. The incident came to light on Monday morning when the information about the discovery of the body near the Mandi-Pathankot Highway, approximately one kilometer from the Jogindernagar town, reached the local police. Under the leadership of Station House Officer Nirmal Singh, police teams rushed to the scene for investigation.

Amid concerns of foul play leading to a possible homicide, a forensic team from Mandi also arrived in Jogindernagar to collect samples. Deputy Superintendent of Police Padhar, Sanjeev Sood, stated that preliminary investigations suggest that the deceased woman was from Jogindernagar. The police investigation is ongoing, and efforts will be made to determine the cause of death as soon as possible.

Mandi Superintendent of Police Soumya Sambasivan has ordered a high-level inquiry into the woman’s death. Further details will be revealed as the investigation progresses.
