Husband Steals and Sells Wife’s Jewelry

In a surprising case in Himachal Pradesh, a man has confessed to stealing and subsequently selling his wife’s jewelry. The complaint was filed at the Baramana police station under the jurisdiction of Bilaspur district.

According to the complainant, Baldev, a resident of Sui village in the Bilaspur district, his son Satish Kumar had admitted to the theft. Satish Kumar had stolen his wife’s jewelry, which included a gold necklace, a gold bracelet, a ring, and a gold ring, with a total value of 90,000 INR. The wife had kept these items in an almirah (wardrobe) in her room.

When Baldev questioned his son about the missing jewelry, Satish Kumar admitted to the theft and revealed that he had sold the stolen jewelry at a local goldsmith’s shop a few days prior. An investigation into the case has been initiated by the police.
