In a shocking revelation, SVB Private Finance Company, operating near the Gurudwara in the district bypass of Solan for about a year, has fled with lakhs of rupees belonging to hundreds of investors. The private finance company had been luring common people into depositing their money, promising lucrative returns.
Over the past few months, numerous investors had been demanding the return of their funds, but the company continuously evaded them, citing various excuses. Last night, the company absconded with millions of rupees, leaving the impoverished investors in distress.
Several individuals from the district had deposited their hard-earned money with SVB Finance Company. The situation turned dire when the company disappeared overnight, taking with it the savings of many, and reports indicate that several cheques issued by the company have bounced.
The financial company, which had been operating continuously for a year, had a system similar to that of a bank. The main office of the company, located in Chandigarh, along with other branches in Himachal and neighboring districts, has also shut down. Victims of this financial scam are seeking justice by approaching the authorities, demanding the return of their trapped funds. The investors, now left in financial distress, have raised their concerns about the accountability of such financial institutions and are urging the government to take strict action against the culprits.
