13.77gm Heroin Seized From Rented Room Near ITI Hostel

Mandi, Mar 16 – Police caught four youths and a girl with 13.77 grams of heroin from a rented room in Mandi, situated near ITI Hostel in Paddal Ward. A syringe has also been recovered from them. Police arrested all and started further investigation.

The accused have been identified as Arvind, resident of Diyari, Tehsil Sadar Mandi, Puneet Kumar, resident of Alva, Tehsil Banjar, District Kullu, Lalit Kumar, resident of Trayasal, Tehsil Sadar Mandi, Sandeep Kumar, resident of Jajraut, Post Office Balt, Tehsil Balh and Lagdhar. SP Mandi Shalini Agnihotri told that all the accused are in the age group of 21 to 38 years. Please tell that the police were getting complaints of selling and storing smack, heroin behind the ITI hostel. On secret information, the team raided the rented room in the second floor of Rachna Goyal’s wife Satish Saini’s house. During this the drug was recovered.
