Kangra : One Killed After Being Hit By Train

Kangra, Sept 04 : A tragic incident occurred on the railway track under the jurisdiction of Kandrori police post on Sunday night, where a person met a gruesome death after being hit by a train.
According to information, the incident happened at 9 PM on Sunday night. The impact of the train was so severe that the victim’s body was mutilated, making identification difficult. Upon receiving information about the accident, the train’s conductor informed the station master. The station master then alerted Head Constable Pawan Kumar of the Kandrori police post.
Upon arrival at the scene, Constable Vinod Kumar conducted a search of the deceased but found no identification documents. The deceased was wearing a red shirt and blue pants, and appeared to be approximately 45 to 50 years old.
The police have initiated proceedings under Section 174 of the CRPC (Code of Criminal Procedure) and sent the deceased’s body for a post-mortem examination at Nurpur Civil Hospital. After the post-mortem, the body will be kept in the morgue for 36 hours to facilitate identification.
