Accident: 1 Killed in bike and car collision

Kangra, Mar 29 – A painful accident has come to light in Tharu under Nagrota Bagwan police station, in which a person died tragically. According to the information, the person was returning home after finishing duty from a private institution.

Meanwhile, on reaching near Tharu on National Highway 154, a car hit the bike and fled from the spot. In a head-on collision, both the car and the motorcycle fell off the road into a drain. The bike rider was seriously injured in the accident.

At the same time, the local people took the injured youth to Tanda Medical College, where he died during treatment. The deceased has been identified as Amit Sarotri (45), resident of Garla Dei, Tehsil Palampur. Confirming the case, DSP Madan Dhiman said that after registering the case, the body was taken into custody and the post-mortem was done. Further action is being taken.
