Himachal Government School Students Shine in JEE and NEET with Free Super-100 Coaching
In the 2025–26 academic session, 36 government school students qualified in JEE, including one who secured admission to IIT Roorkee, five to NIT Hamirpur and one to an IIIT. Another 16 students secured admission to other reputed engineering colleges, while 12 opted for an additional year of preparation to target leading IITs and NITs.
In NEET, 32 students achieved success. Of these, two secured admission to medical courses such as MBBS and BAMS, while four enrolled in other healthcare and science-related courses, including radiology, paramedical programmes and BSc. The remaining successful candidates are continuing their preparation for admission to reputed medical colleges.
Under the Super-100 initiative, students from government schools receive free online coaching, study materials, boot camps and academic guidance to prepare for JEE and NEET. The programme aims to ensure that financial constraints do not prevent talented students, particularly those from rural areas, from pursuing higher education.
Samagra Shiksha State Project Director Rajiv Kumar congratulated the successful students, their parents and teachers. He said the initiative reflects the state government’s commitment to improving educational quality and providing equal opportunities to students across Himachal Pradesh.
