Hindi Diwas Celebrated with Debate and Open Mic at JUIT

JUIT, September 2026: The JUIT Youth Club (JYC) Literary and Debating Club organised a special programme to mark Hindi Diwas, featuring a debate in the morning and an Open Mic session in the evening.

Around 40 students participated in the debate and shared their perspectives while demonstrating their debating skills. Ms Anusha Garg, President of the Students’ Union, JUIT, TEDx speaker and a student of Lady Shri Ram College, attended the session as the guest.

The evening Open Mic attracted around 20 students, who presented poetry, literary pieces, songs and guitar performances. Mr Suraj Khanan and Ms Kritika Sharma were the guests for the session. Khanan also presented some of his own literature and poetry, adding to the evening’s creative atmosphere.

The event provided students with a platform to celebrate Hindi and express themselves through debate, literature, music and poetry.
