Hindi Day Celebrated with Enthusiasm at Delhi Public School Shimla
Shimla, September 15: Hindi Day was celebrated with enthusiasm and fervour at Delhi Public School, Shimla, with students showcasing the importance, richness and cultural significance of the Hindi language through various creative activities.
Students from Classes I to VI enthusiastically participated in a slogan-writing activity, expressing their love, respect and pride for Hindi through meaningful and creative slogans.
A short play presented by the students was another highlight of the programme. Through their performances and dialogues, the students highlighted the relevance of Hindi in everyday life and its connection with identity, culture, emotions and social bonding.
Addressing the students, Principal Veena Chauhan emphasised the importance of respecting and using Hindi in daily life. Appreciating the students’ efforts, she said there was always scope for further improvement and stressed the need to pay greater attention to pronunciation. She encouraged the students to continue their efforts with the same enthusiasm.
The celebration strengthened students’ sense of pride in Hindi and encouraged creative expression and greater appreciation of their language and cultural heritage.
