Workshop on ‘My Bharat’ Portal Organised at ABVGIET Pragatinagar
Pragatinagar: The NSS Unit of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government Institute of Engineering and Technology (ABVGIET), Pragatinagar, organised a workshop for students on registration and participation in quizzes through the ‘My Bharat’ portal.
Students participated in the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD) Quiz and also took a pledge under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan.
Resource person Vipin Kumar, Deputy Director, My Bharat, Shimla, briefed students about the registration process on the My Bharat portal and opportunities to participate in various quizzes and youth activities. Anjali, Youth Volunteer, Jubbal, delivered an awareness and expert session on the Nasha Mukt Bharat campaign and administered the pledge to the participants.
The programme was coordinated by NSS Programme Officer Nikhil Rathore, who highlighted the benefits of youth participation in social activities and the opportunities available through the My Bharat portal.
Director-cum-Principal Prof. (Dr.) Rakesh Thakur appreciated the initiative and said such programmes play an important role in developing social responsibility, leadership skills and awareness about nation-building among students.
