PNB RSETI trains 29 women in beauty parlour entrepreneurship
Kullu, September 9: Punjab National Bank Rural Self Employment Training Institute (PNB RSETI), Kullu, organised a 35-day beauty parlour training programme for women, with 29 trainees completing the course.
Programme coordinator Lakshmi said the participants were trained in entrepreneurship and the skills required to establish and successfully operate a beauty parlour business. The sessions covered self-motivation, identifying and utilising business opportunities, continuity, information gathering, quality management, problem-solving, confidence building and customer engagement.
PNB RSETI Kullu Director Chandra Narayan Singh, who attended the concluding ceremony as chief guest, highlighted the importance of market and quality management. He encouraged the women to pursue self-employment through skill development and work towards becoming economically empowered and self-reliant.
All 29 trainees were presented certificates on completion of the training. The programme aimed to equip women with vocational skills and encourage them to pursue self-employment and entrepreneurship.
